Connect Slack to WPOS to post site updates, read channel context and summarize decisions. Choose the correct workspace and channel permissions.
Your team may discuss the website in Slack while the actual changes happen in WordPress. WPOS can read the connected channel context and post an update when you ask, so the people reviewing the work can see the relevant page or result in the conversation they already use.
A Slack workspace you can install apps into. Owners and admins can install directly, members may need approval. Know which channel you want WPOS to post to, and whether it is public or private. If your workspace requires admin approval for new apps, request it before starting.
Choose Slack in Settings → Connectors, sign in to the intended workspace and approve the requested permissions. For a private channel, invite the WPOS app to that channel before asking it to read or post there.
Summarize this week’s decisions in the website channel. After I publish the agreed page changes, post the live URL and a short update to that channel.
Confirm that the message appears in the intended workspace and channel with the right URL. If a private channel cannot be found, check app membership and the channel identifier.
Use the connected account for a specific task, with the permissions and plan available to you.
Post a page URL and a summary of changes to the channel you specify.
Read available channel history to recover the discussion behind a site change.
Summarize a stated thread or period of conversation for a website review.
Configure a workflow that sends selected submission details to the right channel, then test the trigger and message.

A Slack connection does not automatically announce every WordPress change. Ask for a message as part of a task, or separately configure the trigger and destination for recurring notifications.
The app has not been invited to that private channel. Run /invite @WPOS inside it.
Either the channel name is wrong, or it is private and the app cannot see it. Use the exact name without the hash, and confirm the app was invited.
Your workspace restricts app installs. Ask an owner or admin to approve the request, then connect again.
