Connect your WooCommerce store to WPOS.

Connect WooCommerce to WPOS for products, inventory, orders and reporting. Learn store-specific setup requirements and how to verify the right store.

The workflow

Connect your WooCommerce store to WPOS

WooCommerce already owns your products, stock and orders inside WordPress. Connecting the store to WPOS lets the agent read and manage that data through store operations, while you describe the task in plain language. This guide focuses on the connection and the first useful workflows.

How it works

From connection to a checked result

  1. 01

    Prepare your account

WooCommerce installed and active on the site. WPOS plugin v2.2.99 or later for one-click connect. On an older plugin, update it or paste keys manually. Handoff mode off on that site if you connect from the Workspace. A site in handoff refuses the connect until handoff is turned off.

  2. 02

    Connect WooCommerce

With WooCommerce active, open Settings → Connectors in WPOS and connect WooCommerce. On supported WPOS plugin versions, the connection generates a read/write REST API key on the store and checks it. From Workspace, choose the specific store you want to connect.

  3. 03

    Describe the WordPress workflow

Show products running low on stock in this store, then prepare the stock updates I specify for those products.

  4. 04

    Verify the result

Read back the products or orders from the connected store. Confirm the store URL and record IDs before applying changes, especially when you manage several client stores.

With WooCommerce active, open Settings → Connectors in WPOS and connect WooCommerce. On supported WPOS plugin versions, the connection generates a read/write REST API key on the store and checks it. From Workspace, choose the specific store you want to connect.

Each store should have its own connection. Manually sharing one store’s credentials across sites can expose the wrong catalog to a task. Store operations also depend on WooCommerce being installed and active.

The site is in handoff, which blocks connecting from the Workspace. Turn handoff off in the WPOS panel on that site, connect WooCommerce, then turn handoff back on.

One-click connect needs WPOS plugin v2.2.99 or later. Update the plugin on that site, or paste keys manually.

The site does not have WooCommerce installed and active, or it is not an active site in your account. Install and activate WooCommerce, then connect again.
