A WordPress AI agent takes plain-language instructions and makes the change on the site itself. Here are the eight worth knowing in 2026, from builder agents like Elementor's Angie to host agents like SiteGround's, compared on price, hosting, builders and fit for agencies that run client sites.
The right one depends on where your sites are hosted, which builder they use and who drives the work. Builder agents such as Elementor's Angie and the Divi AI Agent work best inside their own builder. Host agents from SiteGround, Hostinger and 10Web come with, or require, that company's hosting. MCP servers such as WPVibe and Respira let the Claude or ChatGPT you already use work on any self-hosted site. An agency agent such as WPOS runs many client sites across hosts and builders, with checked work and a white-label handoff.
WPOS is our product, so weigh what we say about it accordingly. Every fact on this page comes from each vendor's own website or WordPress.org listing, checked on 5 November 2026. Prices are before tax.
How they compare at a glance. Checked on 5 November 2026 against each vendor’s own pages. WPOS is our product.

“Any host” means the agent installs as a plugin or theme on a self-hosted WordPress site, wherever it runs.
What it is. WPOS is our product: an AI agent and workspace for agencies that build and run client WordPress sites. It installs as a plugin on the sites you already manage, on any host, works inside wp-admin and builds natively in Gutenberg, Elementor and Divi, so pages stay editable by hand.
Where it stands out. It checks its own work with a browser render before it reports done, applies your team’s conventions as skills on every site, and offers a white-label client handoff through the Partner Program. Your own Claude Code, Cursor or Codex can drive the same tools over MCP without spending WPOS credits.
Watch out for. It builds in Gutenberg, Elementor and Divi, not Bricks, Breakdance or Beaver Builder. It is not a host, so speed and uptime stay with your hosting.
Price. 30 days free with 5,000 credits and no card, then $25 per site a month, dropping to $19.50 at 100 or more sites; credits are pay-as-you-go. See pricing.
What it is. Elementor’s agentic AI for WordPress. Its WordPress.org listing says it can “generate full Elementor pages, widgets and code snippets for WordPress, save your work to the cloud, and run your full WordPress stack through conversation.”
Where it stands out. Custom Elementor widgets and snippets from a prompt, a Cloud Library for reusing creations on other sites, and an Elementor MCP connection for Claude, Codex and Cursor.
Watch out for. It is built around Elementor, and logging in requires an Elementor account. A white-label client handoff isn’t listed.
Price. A free tier with daily renewing credits; Elementor sells more AI usage as credits in its paid plans. Our WPOS vs Angie page compares the two in detail.
What it is. Elegant Themes describes its new Divi AI Agent as “a new way to build websites with natural language” that works “right inside the Visual Builder.” It builds layouts, generates images, writes custom code, creates and publishes pages, manages menus and Theme Builder templates, and makes site-wide design updates. It sits alongside Divi AI, which generates layouts, text, images and code.
Where it stands out. Deep knowledge of Divi itself: Theme Builder templates, menus and design settings, with Divi’s documentation built in.
Watch out for. It works in Divi only, and agent use beyond the included amount is billed separately.
Price. Divi Pro is $277 a year and includes unlimited Divi AI generation plus $60 a year of agent use; further agent use needs paid credits.
What it is. A chat agent inside SiteGround AI Studio. Connect a site with the AI Agent by SiteGround plugin and it can create, edit and publish posts and pages, handle media and SEO, manage WooCommerce products, stock and orders, install and update plugins and themes, change settings and manage users, across several sites from one chat.
Where it stands out. It costs nothing extra on SiteGround’s WordPress hosting, and higher-impact actions such as deletions need Power Mode, which is off by default.
Watch out for. SiteGround describes posts and pages rather than native page-builder layouts, and a white-label client handoff isn’t listed. Sites hosted elsewhere get a 14-day trial.
Price. Free with SiteGround’s WordPress hosting through the Essential AI Studio plan, which includes 20,000 tokens a month; more tokens can be bought. See WPOS vs SiteGround AI Agent.
What it is. Hostinger’s AI agent, previously called Kodee, works across Hostinger’s hPanel and WordPress through the free Hostinger AI plugin. It handles admin tasks in plain language, such as maintenance mode, HTTPS and caching, edits Elementor page structure, styles and content, manages WooCommerce coupons, plugins and themes, and can connect AI tools such as Claude or Cursor to the site.
Where it stands out. It reaches the hosting layer too, including migrations, backups and server health checks, which a plugin-only agent can’t do.
Watch out for. It is for sites hosted at Hostinger.
Price. Included with Hostinger’s Business and Cloud plans, with no separate subscription.
What it is. A managed hosting platform with an agentic AI website builder on top. Its plans bundle the builder, hosting on its own infrastructure and performance tooling, and its agency plans add redesign, clone and Figma agents and a branded client dashboard.
Where it stands out. One vendor answers for the build, the hosting and page speed; 10Web markets a 90+ PageSpeed score.
Watch out for. Using it means hosting with 10Web, which usually means migrating an existing site, and its builder is Elementor-based.
Price. From $10 a month billed yearly for 1 site (AI Starter); agency plans from $42.50 a month billed yearly for 10 sites; a 3-day free trial. See WPOS vs 10Web.
What it is. A free plugin from SeedProd that turns a self-hosted WordPress site into an MCP server, so the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Windsurf, can manage content, media, page builders and WooCommerce products. It has 100,000+ active installs on WordPress.org.
Where it stands out. A broad builder list (Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, Bricks, Breakdance and Beaver Builder), an approval panel with a dry run for destructive actions, and a generous free plan.
Watch out for. You choose, pay for and supervise the AI yourself, in your own AI app; WPVibe says the free plans of Claude and ChatGPT work.
Price. A free plan with every tool and 100 actions a day across unlimited sites; paid plans from $99 to $899 a year, with client invites on the $599 Agency plan. See WPOS vs WPVibe.
What it is. A WordPress plugin that gives AI assistants an MCP endpoint for reading and editing the site. It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok, VS Code and n8n, and supports 19 page builders, including Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi 4 and 5, Bricks, Oxygen, Beaver Builder and Breakdance.
Where it stands out. Safety on structural edits: it snapshots pages before writes with a 90-day rollback, queues bulk operations for approval, verifies the server render after a write and keeps an audit log. Respira pitches itself at agencies running 5 to 25 sites.
Watch out for. As with any MCP server, the AI and its subscription are yours to choose and supervise.
Price. Maker €71 a year (1 site), Builder €150 a year (5 or 10 client sites) and Studio €451 a year (25 to 250 sites), with a 7-day trial and no card; a WooCommerce add-on is €95 a year.
If every site is on SiteGround or Hostinger, try that host's agent first: it comes with the hosting.
Building mostly in Elementor? Try Angie. On Divi? Try the Divi AI Agent. Both work best inside their own builder.
If developers drive and you already pay for Claude or ChatGPT, an MCP server such as WPVibe or Respira gives that AI the tools on any self-hosted site.
Across hosts and builders, with checked work, team conventions and your own brand in front of clients, an agency agent such as WPOS is built for that job; Respira suits agencies whose developers bring their own AI.
Give each candidate the same job from your backlog on a staging copy, then compare the result, the time it took and how much you had to fix.
Straight answers on what a WordPress AI agent is, what it costs and how to choose one.
Software that takes plain-language instructions and makes the change on a WordPress site itself, such as building a page, updating products or changing settings, instead of only writing text for you to paste. It works through tools: inside wp-admin, in a host's dashboard, inside a page builder, or from your own AI app over MCP.
It depends on the client book. If every client is on one host, that host's agent is the cheapest start. If you build in one builder, that builder's agent fits. For many client sites across hosts and builders, with checked work and a white-label handoff, WPOS is built for that job; it is our product, so test it against the others on a real task.
Yes, with limits. Angie has a free tier with daily credits, WPVibe has a free plan with 100 actions a day (you bring the AI), SiteGround's agent is free with SiteGround hosting, and Hostinger's agent is included with its Business and Cloud plans. WPOS is free for the first 30 days with 5,000 credits.
Yes, through MCP. WordPress.com and Jetpack sites can use WordPress.com's MCP server, self-hosted sites can use the official MCP Adapter or a plugin such as WPVibe or Respira, and WPOS lets Claude Code, Cursor or Codex drive its tools. Our Claude for WordPress guide has the steps.
Angie is built for Elementor and the Divi AI Agent for Divi. WPOS builds natively in Gutenberg, Elementor and Divi. WPVibe adds Bricks, Breakdance and Beaver Builder, and Respira lists 19 builders. SiteGround describes posts and pages rather than builder layouts, and 10Web's builder is Elementor-based.
It can be. Connect it as a dedicated user with only the access the job needs, start with read-only tasks, try new kinds of change on staging, keep a restore you have tested, and have a person approve anything clients will see. Look for agents that confirm risky actions, take snapshots or check their own work.
On what matters to an agency: where the agent runs, which builders it supports, where you work with it, how it handles risky changes, multi-site and white-label features, and price. Every fact comes from the vendor's own website or WordPress.org listing, checked on 5 November 2026. WPOS is our product.
