The workflow

Work with Stripe payments beside your WordPress site

Payment details often sit in Stripe while the page explaining the offer lives in WordPress. WPOS can work across those tasks: prepare a payment link, update the page around it, or look after the products, prices and invoices behind the offer.

What you can do

Stripe in your WordPress workflow

Use the connected account for a specific task, with the permissions and plan available to you.

Payment links

Create a payment link for an offer and place it in the appropriate WordPress page.

Products and prices

Manage the Stripe products and prices that support your offers, including subscription billing details.

Invoices and payments

Work with invoices and payment records for the account you connected.

Quotes and refunds

Handle supported quote and refund tasks when explicitly requested, after identifying the correct record.

Choose Stripe in Settings → Connectors. Complete the managed sign-in flow on Stripe’s own domain, using the correct account email. Stripe requires the business owner or someone with significant management responsibility to complete its form.

Connecting Stripe does not automatically install a WooCommerce gateway or replace your checkout. A payment link and a store checkout are separate workflows; the destination and payment setup must be specified.

The popup is still open, or it was blocked before it opened. Finish it or close it, then press Connect again.

The costly mistake here, because Stripe actions touch live payments. Disconnect, reconnect, and check the email address on the Stripe screen before you press Continue.

Stripe requires an owner, or someone with significant management responsibility, to complete the form. Pass this step to that person rather than working around it.
