The workflow

Move Canva artwork into your WordPress pages

Campaign artwork may be ready in Canva while the WordPress page is still waiting for it. WPOS can find designs in the connected account, export finished artwork and use that output in the site workflow, keeping the original design in Canva for future editing.

How it works

From connection to a checked result

  1. 01

    Prepare your account

A Canva account. Free works for basic use. Canva Pro is needed for brand kits, premium templates, and some export options. Know which team owns the designs you want. Team and brand kit features require a Canva for Teams plan.

  2. 02

    Connect Canva

Select Canva in Settings → Connectors. Confirm the account shown in Canva’s authorization popup, choose the team that owns the designs, review the requested permissions and allow the connection.

  3. 03

    Describe the WordPress workflow

Find the approved Canva design for this event, export the finished artwork and place it on the WordPress event page.

  4. 04

    Verify the result

Confirm the export uses the intended design and page, then check its appearance and image description on WordPress. Large or multi-page Canva exports may take time to finish.

Account plans affect brand kits, premium templates and export options. Exported artwork is an asset; it does not automatically become a set of editable WordPress layout elements.

Free accounts cannot export designs containing paid stock or Pro features without purchasing them. Replace the premium elements or upgrade.

You connected a personal account, or picked the wrong team. Reconnect and select the team that owns the designs.

Large or multi page designs render asynchronously. Allow time before assuming failure.
