Announced May 15, 2026
We’re excited to share that WPCursor is now WPOS — the Agentic OS for WordPress. The product you know hasn’t changed; the name has. This page explains what’s new, why we rebranded, and what (if anything) you need to do.
When we launched as WPCursor, our mission was simple: let people build WordPress sites through conversation. As the product grew — managed hosting, the MCP agent marketplace, headless-browser research, Divi and Gutenberg builders, a connector ecosystem — “a cursor for WordPress” stopped describing what we actually are.
WPOS — the Agentic OS for WordPress — captures the full picture. It’s an operating layer that sits on top of WordPress, where AI agents read, build, deploy, and maintain your sites on your behalf. WordPress is the substrate. WPOS is the OS.
wpcursor.com → wpos.ai. The marketing site, docs, and pricing live here now.app.wpos.ai, api.wpos.ai, and admin.wpos.ai.wpcursor-ewb for backward compatibility, and updates flow as before.wpcursor.com, api.wpcursor.com, app.wpcursor.com, and admin.wpcursor.com will continue to respond and redirect to their wpos.ai counterparts. You don’t need to update any code.No. Everything continues to work. If you’d like to update references on your end at your own pace:
wpcursor.com to wpos.ai.@wpcursor.com addresses still forwards.*.wpos.ai alongside the existing *.wpcursor.com entries. You can remove the old ones later when you’re ready. The WordPress plugin keeps its slug (wpcursor-ewb) so existing installs and update channels are not disrupted. You’ll see the WPOS name and refreshed UI inside the admin once the next plugin update lands. No re-activation, no re-licensing, no settings reset.
If anything looks off — a broken redirect, a stale logo, an email that bounced — please tell us at support@wpos.ai. We’ll fix it fast.
Thanks for being part of this. The next chapter is going to be a fun one.
